Kenalog

Kenalog is a prescription-only medicine that contains the active ingredient Triamcinolone Acetonide.

How does it work?

Most clients have this injection into the rear muscle, to ease and in most cases STOP the effects of Hayfever. Removing the misery of blocked nose, sinus pain, headache, sore throat, laryngitis, and general feeling of being unwell and unable to function to our full potential.

This misery lasts for months depending on the pollen that you are allergic to. As early as March and as late as September, you can be suffering needlessly.

The GPs no longer provide Kenalog as a solution and remedy for hayfever.

I, personally, have used Kenalog to remove the misery of hayfever with immense success.

I would suggest taking anti histamine tablets prior to the treatment.  And if you have Salbutamol (Ventolin) inhaler or EpiPen to take these with you to your appointment.  Although, a reaction is unlikely, it is better to be prepared.

Administered via intra-articular/intramuscular injection, Kenalog is used to treat various allergic disorders including asthma and (off-label) hay fever, blood disorders, hormone problems, rheumatic fever, and problems associated with the digestive system.

Other uses

Kenalog is also used for the treatment of joint pain, swelling and stiffness in inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Mode of Action: Triamcinolone acetonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid with marked anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic actions.
