By puncturing tiny holes in the skin, the surface tissue contracts to give an immediately visible skin lift effect.
The Treatment
The OVEO Plasma Pen [OPP] uses ground-breaking technology to rejuvenate and tighten the skin with no downtime, no scarring and creates a fresher, plumper facial lift.
The OPP is Fox Group’s own non-surgical device. Derived from the Latin word, ‘Refoveo’ meaning to refresh and revive, OVEO treatments create visible results hours after the treatment.
During an OVEO treatment, the Plasma Pen creates a small accurate plasma arc which creates a very specific thermal burn that causes instant tightening to the skin area.
By puncturing tiny holes in the skin, the surface tissue contracts to give an immediately visible skin lift effect. As the epidermis creates fresh new cells, the process of collagen is enhanced, and elastic creation makes the skin appear stronger, fresher, and lifted over a short period of time.
Treatment areas of OVEO include eyelids, crow’s feet, jowl, and neck areas amongst other areas that have become loose over time.
The OVEO Plasma Pen is CE marked and ISO 9001 certified meaning it is safe and fully compliant with European safety regulations.
The Benefits
Introduction (Plasma Skin Tightening)
Plasma skin tightening is well known for its success with eyelid tightening, including under eyes and excess upper eyelid skin, crow’s feet and frown lines, naso-labial lines, smokers’ lines on upper lip, jowls and neck tightening and loose tummy skin after birth.
Plasma facelift and neck lift is possible.
This technology utilises plasma – formed through ionisation of atmospheric gases to stimulate instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres.
The Benefits
What are the benefits of Plasma skin tightening?
How do I prepare myself for having Plasma Skin Tightening?
This will be discussed with you at your pre-treatment consultation in depth.
In the week following treatment (or until the treatment area has fully healed) use only a mild PH balanced soap (Dove) and water to gently cleanse the treated area ensuring it is completely dry. Avoid rubbing the area.
What does the treatment involve?
The treatment involves the use of a plasma pen; an extremely accurate hand- held device that works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tip and the natural gases emitted from our skin, to form a plasma charge.
A small electrical arc is created that instantly shrinks the targeted skin.
After the treatment, the tissues retract and the skin then goes through a natural regeneration process, by stimulating the fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin and this beneficial effect can remain for 2 – 3 years, leaving the client with fresher, and smoother looking skin.
Is Plasma Skin Rejuvenation safe?
Yes, treatment is very safe when carried out by a competent Practitioner.
This technology does not use scalpel or laser to remove excess skin, thereby avoiding all risks inherent to the traditional intervention.
The treatment is performed without cutting, burning, or removing excess skin or fat.
Is treatment painful?
We use a topical numbing cream to minimize any pain or discomfort as much as possible. Most our clients tell us the treatment is not that painful.
Usually, the Eye or Neck Area being the most sensitive.
During the treatment you may feel some heat in the treatment area, which may be uncomfortable and slightly irritating.
How long does a Plasma Skin Tightening treatment take?
Treatment takes around 30 minutes to one hour depending on the areas being treated.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments required will vary according to the area being treated, skin’s laxity, and the desired degree of correction and the individual’s response to the treatment.
Most clients see results instantly and this continues to improve over the course of the following 12 weeks.
One treatment is often enough; but severity of eyelids or wrinkles and client expectations are all taken into account. Some clients may need a 2nd or 3rd treatment. We find the eyelid area usually requires more than one treatment, whereas wrinkles often need only one treatment.
We recommend any extra treatments to be done 2 – 3 months apart.
